Barcamp Madison

My cousin Christian told me about a really exciting event coming up in Madison called BarCamp. Simply put, BarCamp is a two day event where anyone with an interested in technology can come and participate in sessions led by members of the community.

BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. BarCampMadison is currently planned to be a 30-hour event focused on technology and creativity. To learn about other BarCamps around the world go to the International BarCamp site www.BarCamp.org. It has been dubbed as the Tech un-conference and most importantly, it’s free!

Christian said he attended last year in Milwaukee and had an amazing time. He even plans on leading a session or two this year. I will be attending both days and am looking for anybody who is interested to come along with me.
Barcamp Madison will take place at the Inn on the Park on March 3rd and 4th and will have sessions that cover almost every aspect of technology. If you have any interest in technology and/or learning more about it, please visit BarCamp Madison and sign up. You can even volunteer to lead a session.
